On behalf of the Board of Directors and members of the Macomb County Bar Association, congratulations and welcome to the bar! Your achievement is one to celebrate.
In "normal" times we would get together and introduce you to members of the Macomb County bench and bar at a Macomb County admission ceremony. Unfortunately that cannot happen at this time, so, in cooperation with the State Bar of Michigan and the Michigan Supreme Court we invite you to the first ever virtual mass swearing-in on May 15 where you will be sworn in by Michigan Supreme Court Chief Justice Bridget McCormack, upon a motion presented by State Bar of Michigan President Dennis Barnes. The Macomb Bar invites you to a virtual reception for you immediately following the swearing in, see below. Macomb Bar leaders and Macomb County Judges will be "in the room" where you will be introduced. Join us for this reception and we will provide you with a free year of membership in the Macomb Bar.
